The XT-GNSS GNSS Heading Module is a compact, high-precision, dual-antenna GNSS receiver designed for advanced automation, navigation, and positioning applications. Built on Septentrio's proven mosaic™ platform, this module delivers centimeter-level RTK accuracy and sub-degree heading performance, making it ideal for UAVs, robotics, autonomous vehicles, rail, logistics, and industrial automation.

With dual-antenna input, XT-GNSS-H provides instant and reliable heading combined with pitch or roll angles, ensuring superior performance in both static and dynamic conditions. Unlike magnet-based sensors, it is immune to interference from surrounding metal, making it a robust solution for demanding environments.

The module supports all major GNSS constellations (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS, SBAS) with 448 hardware channels for simultaneous multi-frequency tracking. It integrates Septentrio's GNSS+ technology suite, including:

  • AIM+: Advanced anti-jamming and anti-spoofing protection
  • LOCK+: Robust tracking under vibration and shocks
  • APME+: Multipath mitigation for signal reliability
  • IONO+: Protection against ionospheric disturbances
  • RAIM+: Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring
  • OSNMA support for authentication of Galileo signals

Connectivity is versatile, with 4 UART ports, Ethernet (10/100 Mbps), USB 2.0, SDIO, CAN bus, GPIOs, and PPS output, enabling seamless integration into a wide range of platforms. The module is fully documented and supported by RxTools software for configuration, monitoring, logging, and analysis. Offline processing is available via SDK for Post-Processed Kinematic (PPK) workflows.

Performance Highlights:

  • RTK accuracy: Horizontal 0.6 cm + 0.5 ppm, Vertical 1 cm + 1 ppm
  • Standalone accuracy: 1.2 m (H), 1.9 m (V)
  • SBAS accuracy: 0.6 m (H), 0.8 m (V)
  • DGNSS accuracy: 0.4 m (H), 0.7 m (V)
  • Velocity accuracy: 3 cm/s
  • Attitude accuracy: Heading 0.03° (with 5 m antenna separation), Pitch/Roll 0.05°
  • Update rate: Up to 100 Hz (measurements), 20 Hz (RTK + attitude)
  • Time precision: <5 ns PPS accuracy

Physical & Environmental:

  • Compact SMT solderable LGA package (31 × 31 × 4 mm)
  • Weight: 6.8 g
  • Power consumption: 0.6 W (typical), 1.1 W (max)
  • Input voltage: 3.3 VDC
  • Antenna bias: 3.0–5.5 V, 150 mA limit
  • Operating temperature: -40 °C to +85 °C
  • Certifications: RoHS, WEEE, CE, FCC
  • Vibration: MIL-STD-810G compliant

The XT-GNSS-H module is engineered for high-volume automated assembly, ensuring consistent quality and scalability. Its standard mosaic footprint allows easy integration across multiple product designs, reducing development time and cost.

Whether for UAV autopilots, robotic navigation, rail automation, or precision logistics, the Xtragen Mosaic-H delivers unmatched reliability, accuracy, and efficiency in GNSS-based heading and positioning
